ABOUT

M. Annie Kehoe is a visual artist living in SE Portland, OR. The majority of her pieces are acrylic on wood, though she frequently works in mixed media and non-traditional surfaces and materials. Much of her work involves using reference photos and graphic design / photo manipulation to finally translate her work into paint & canvas.

Her early work was heavily inspired by illustration and graphic novels, and her current work is striving towards heightened naturalism with the goal of every painting becoming more realistic than the previous. The goal of each piece is to thoughtfully and accurately capture something true in the subject. She believes a painting can capture the essence of something/someone like nothing else can, and she is humbled to do this work.

She loves to collaborate creatively with anyone on just about anything, especially on commissioned paintings.
